About Midland Water Damage

A free call back service that connects Midland and Odessa homeowners with independent restoration companies, plus straight information about the job.

Midland Water Damage is a local referral service for homeowners dealing with water damage in Midland, Odessa and the towns around them. We don't run trucks or crews ourselves. When you send us your details, we pass them to an independent restoration company that serves your area, and that company calls you back.

Why we started this

When a pipe lets go or the water heater dumps its tank, most people don't know who to call. They search, find a list of names they've never heard of, and start dialing while the water spreads. We wanted one short form that gets a homeowner to a working crew, along with plain information about what should happen next.

How it works

  1. You fill in the call back form with your name, phone number, town and what happened.
  2. We pass your request to an independent restoration company that covers your area. We share your details with that company and nobody else.
  3. That company calls you back and tells you who they are. If you want them to come out, they inspect the damage and give you their own estimate.
  4. You decide whether to hire them. The agreement, the work and the price are between you and them.

What we are and what we are not

We are not a restoration contractor, and we don't claim licenses, certifications or years of experience that belong to someone else. The companies we refer are separate businesses that set their own prices and terms. Before you sign anything, ask the company for proof of insurance. For mold jobs of 25 square feet or more, ask for its TDLR mold license number and check it on the TDLR website.

We may be paid by the restoration companies we refer homeowners to. Asking for a call back costs you nothing.

Why this site has so much detail

We would rather you understand the job before anyone shows up. The pages on restoration, burst pipes, mold and insurance claims explain what a good job looks like and what Texas law says about your claim. Where we quote a number, we link to the source: the EPA, the CDC, the National Weather Service, the Texas Department of Insurance, TDLR and the City of Midland.

Water in your house right now?

Shut off the main water valve, keep clear of wet outlets and cords, and take a few photos. Then send us your details. The sooner drying starts, the less of the house has to come out.
